Offshorly's 2026 team building event brought together colleagues from across the organization for an occasion that transcended the typical corporate gathering, a genuine celebration of connection, growth, and the people who drive the organization's mission forward.

Overview
The event marked a significant milestone: a decade with Jona and Micah, whose tenure stands as testament to the organization's commitment to valuing and retaining talent. New Team Leads were introduced, selected for their genuine investment in developing those around them. The Culture Committee was formally launched, reflecting a commitment to fostering authentic belonging across a distributed team.
Throughout the day, what emerged was clarity: a shared sense of purpose, clearly defined roles, and renewed appreciation for the strength of collective effort. The organization has grown substantially, not merely in numbers, but in the depth of relationships, the caliber of leadership, and collective confidence in what is being built together.

Every year it’s the same, and that’s exactly why we love it. Fun as a team, a proper break, and the two things that matter most, time to really connect, and space to plan what’s next.
A day built around people
From the first hello: good food, unguarded laughter, the kind that only happens when the right people are in the room. For many of us, it was the first time meeting teammates face to face, names from chat windows turning into handshakes, hugs, and stories that ran long into the night. By the end, it felt like we’d known each other for years.
Looking ahead, not just back
We unveiled clearly defined contributions for everyone, a sharper sense of how each of us fits into the bigger picture. And we launched an initiative to spark organic meetups all year long, because what we felt that day shouldn’t be a one-off.

We’re entering an exciting season of growth, and our Team Leads are a big part of it. They push things forward while looking after the people who make it happen.
Every strong team has someone making sure no one gets left behind. That’s what our Team Leads are here for. They’re your go-to person on projects, the one who helps you find your footing when the work gets hard, and the one who lifts you up when you need it.
We didn’t pick them for technical skill alone. We picked people who care about bringing out the best in those around them, because growth matters here as much as getting the work done.

Meet the Culture Committee: The Offshorly Way
We’re a remote team, but we don’t feel like one, and that’s by design.
This June, we’re introducing something new to the organisation. Staying true to our values, looking after our staff and making sure everyone feels they belong, we’re introducing our Culture Committee: a group of people who are more than colleagues. They’re the ones with the fresh ideas, the good energy, and the genuine care that holds a team together. Think of them as your Culture Buddies, the people who’ll show you what it’s actually like to be part of Offshorly, day to day.
Because Belonging shouldn’t be something you have to figure out on your own.
No forced fun. No mandatory events. Just real connection, built around the things people actually want to show up for: organic meetups, Discord calls, the occasional mini tournament, movie nights when the mood strikes. People come because they want to, not because they have to, and that’s exactly when the good stuff happens. The moments where the faces behind the cameras turn into people you’re comfortable with.
A decade with Jona and Micah
The truest proof of the culture we’ve built is who’s still here to enjoy it. Ten years ago, Jona and Micah joined Offshorly. Today, they’re not just still with us; they’re the ones shaping who we become, working alongside management to guide a new generation of the team in the right direction.
Good people stay where they’re valued, and companies grow when good people stay. Jona and Micah are living proof of both.
To mark the decade, Offshorly gifted each a gold bar: a small, lasting reminder of years that have been just as solid, and worth just as much to us. Here’s to what we’ve built together and to an even brighter road ahead.

It meant a lot that you both made the effort to be there in person for this milestone. We’re a bigger team now, and more importantly, a team with the right people in it. That doesn’t happen by accident, it happens because of the drive and leadership you both bring every day. One thing we’re genuinely proud of: we’re not just keeping pace with tech and AI, we’re ahead of it. That’s down to you both.
We’ve grown, and we’re just getting started
Looking around the room, it was hard not to feel it. We’ve grown — not just in numbers, but in the depth of our connections, the strength of our leaders, and a quiet confidence that we’re building something real together.
For some of us, this was a first: first meet, first face behind a name, first real taste of what Offshorly feels like in one place. We hope it’s a memory worth keeping.
